What is this? WordPress admins: do you ever look at your list of plugins and struggle to remember why you downloaded one? Or why it’s configured a certain way? With the Plugin Annotations plugin, you can solve that by leaving yourself notes attached to each plugin.
No really, why does this exist? My last professional work with WordPress was in 2015, well before WordPress 5 was released, and I wanted to give myself a refresher course. Since I learn (or re-learn) by doing, I figured writing a simple plugin would do the trick.
Lacking any ideas for plugins, I found this page and picked one. If the idea for this plugin appeals to you, I’d point you towards Plugin Notes Plus, which has gone through multiple iterations and seems more fully featured. But mine works, too! And in only three files!
